Bill Thompson

I am excited to be the pastor of FBC in Paxton IL. My number one passion in life is to know Jesus more and more and to be continually captivated by His presence in my life. Not only is that the passion and goal for my own life, but I also desire to see others come to know Him in a real and personal way. I desire to do that through sharing and living out the exciting, relevant Word of God. For many people they go through the mundane routine of going to church with little or no expectations at all. My desire is that all who come through the doors of FBC will experience the amazing presence of God and genuine love from His people. Come expecting, come just as you are and be captivated by the awesome grace of our God.

Tonya has been a member of our church since Nov. 2005. She and her husband David have 4 sons. In addition to her duties as Financial Secretary, she also volunteers in the nursery, and teaches Children's Church.

David & his wife Tonya joined our church in November 2005. They have 4 boys (Logan, Dylan, Jackson & Connor). Besides volunteer work at our church he also works fulltime as a Property Manager in Champaign, IL
